About TypeMaster
Free typing practice built around classic literature — not random word drills.
What it is
TypeMaster lets you retype public-domain books and stories chapter by chapter, track WPM and accuracy locally, and optionally use structured lesson levels or coding syntax tracks. Browse the library on Stories.
Who builds it
TypeMaster is developed by ntxm. Installers and release notes live on GitHub. Desktop installers for Windows and macOS are on the Download page.
Not Typing Master
TypeMaster is a separate product from the commercial “Typing Master” software. We are free to use, and centered on book typing plus offline desktop apps.
